Most of us have PH.D’s in giving, and are not yet in Kindergarten with receiving.

Giving is pretty easy, receiving takes some skill and practice. Practice by asking for things you normally don’t.

You’ll be surprised by what comes. Practice by being a bit uncomfortable with the asking. See if you can throw out your “internal ledger book” that keeps score of what you need to repay. (bet you didn’t know I knew about that one!) Practice by asking what your dream needs, which might be different than what you need.
