  1. I’ll be out of town for part of the time. Will I be able to access the materials when I return?

    If you are not able to attend any of the live teleclasses with SARK, high-quality recordings will be available. Additionally, any program materials will be delivered to your inbox and will be waiting for you.

  2. When do the live teleclasses with SARK take place?

    We meet two Thursdays per month.  The first class is Thu/Jan. 17,  6-7:30 pm PST and then as follows :  Thu/Jan. 31;  Thu/Feb. 7, Feb. 21; Thu/Mar. 14, Mar. 28 from  6-7:30 pm PST. We will also have two bonus calls for the month of April which will be on Thu/Apr. 11 and Thu. Apr. 25.  Each class will last up to one and half hours. Each call will be recorded and you will receive a high-quality MP3 of each recording.

  3. What is the time commitment for Write It NOW with SARK?

    This is a monthly on-going program, and for your first registration, we ask that you commit to at least 3 months – that will ensure that you are able to get the value of the program.

  4. How much time is it going to take to participate in the WINS program?

    This program is designed for those interested in Writing – being writers today or in the future. The time commitment required is directly proportional to your commitment to being a writer. Therefore, you can get a tremendous amount of value by simply participating or listening to the calls with SARK twice per month, but you can get even more value by writing – both on the community platform and outside of the community platform, and the amount of time necessary for that is entirely up to you.

  5. Can I give Write It NOW with SARK as a gift?

  6. I live outside of the United States. Can I still sign up?

    YES! Simply sign up in the regular way! Note that if you wish to call in live to the teleclasses, you will be responsible for calling a U.S. phone number. As an alternative, you can also download the recordings (MP3) of each call, rather than calling in live.

  7. Is there any additional cost for the twice monthly teleclasses with SARK?

    The live calls are held on a state-of-the-art conference line, with a regular long-distance number. Any long-distance rates that are normally charged by your phone company will apply. Pre-paid calling cards are often inexpensive alternatives to regular long-distance. Also, attendance in the live classes is not required, so if it is more convenient for you to download the high-quality recording of each teleclass, that is just fine!

  8. I’m ready to sign up! How much is it and what methods of payment can I use?

    WINS and WINS PLUS are monthly on-going program, and you can review the payment options here. When you register for WINS, the credit card you use for billing will be charged monthly, quarterly or yearly (depending on the program and payment option you choose), unless you cancel. Cancellation must be done by before your next payment is due, and can be requested by sending an email to

  9. How do I get the course materials after I complete my payment?

    After you complete your payment, you’ll be taken to a download page where you can download your welcome message from SARK, plus your bonuses. A link to the download page will also be sent to your email address, with the subject line, “Downloading your Digital Product”. This download page will remain active for 24 hours.   15. Does participation in WINS guarantee that I will get an introduction to SARK’s publisher?

    No, WINS is not a program for publisher introductions – it’s a program to enhance, accelerate, and improve your writing and writing process, in community with other writers. Occasionally, SARK has introduced authors to a publisher, but it is done on a case by case basis, and only after SARK has worked directly, one-on-one with the individual.

  16. If I participate in WINS, will SARK endorse my book?

    No, WINS is not a program for book endorsements – it’s a program to enhance, accelerate, and improve your writing and writing process, in community with other writers. Occasionally, SARK has introduced authors to a publisher, but it is done on a case by case basis, and only after SARK has worked directly, one-on-one with the individual .

  17. What is the class curriculum for the first 3 months of classes?

    SARK is teaching all of the live classes, which are each 90 minutes long. With our smaller group size, there will be lots of time for interaction. We are extremely excited and inspired by WINS and know that you will be too!

  18. Can I switch between the two plans during the Cycle (i.e. I signed up for WINS Plus and now want to switch to WINS in May {or vice versa})?

    If you register for WINS Plus, you will be registered into WINS Plus for one entire cycle – a 3 month period.  If, at the end of that period, you wish to switch to WINS, you may do so at that time. If you register for WINS, and request to upgrade to WINS Plus during a cycle, that will be available only based upon availability. In the past, WINS Plus has been sold out prior to the start of each cycle, so this potential upgrade us unlikely to be available.

  19. If I sign up for the whole year and want to withdraw at any point, what’s the refund policy?

    If you decide you would like to stop participating in WINS before the year is up, you will be eligible for a pro-rated refund from the month at which you make the request, and refunds will be calculated based upon a $99/month rate. For example, if you start in July 2012, pay $997 for the entire year, and request to withdraw on February 12, 2013, you would be refunded $205 and your access to WINS would be removed as of February 28, 2013.  The calculation is like this: 8 months at $99 = $792; $997 – $792 = $205 refunded

  20. What if I sign up for monthly and then want the yearly plan? Can I get it at the discounted rate and pro-rate what I’ve already spent on the monthly plan?

    No, we are sorry, you cannot get a pro-rated discount. However, you are welcome to stop the monthly membership and join for the entire year, thereby getting the discount on the next 12 months.

  21. I’ve been participating in WINS from the beginning – can I switch to WINS rather than renewing my membership in WINS Plus?

    Sure! As long as we are not mid-cycle, simply notify us at and we will take care of your request.  All requests are subject to the rules above as well.

  22. I’ve been participating in WINS from the beginning, and I love the attention that I get from SARK on the message board and during the calls – will that continue with the creation of this new program?
